Cosplay
Cosplay is a practice in which people dress up as characters from manga, anime, games, movies, TV shows, and other popular media, often at events such as pop culture conventions. The term is a contraction of "costume play" and refers to the combination of costume creation and character portrayal.
Cosplayers typically dedicate a lot of time and effort to creating their costumes, which can include clothing, accessories, and wigs. Many cosplayers also work on their acting skills to imitate the mannerisms and gestures of the characters they are portraying. (more…)
