Bonsai
Bonsai is an ancient Japanese technique of creating and maintaining miniature trees. The word "bonsai" itself means "tree in a tray" in Japanese, and it is an art form that involves meticulous care and specific techniques to transform miniature trees, often hundreds of years old, into living and impressive works of art.
The bonsai technique originated in Japan, but its roots can be traced back to China over a thousand years ago. It is believed that Chinese monks were the first to begin cultivating miniature trees as a form of meditation and contemplation.
